How the system work:
1. Send
message from APRS to Internet
From aprs send a message to EMAILCA and enter this:
Recipient-EMail Message
example:
pippo@pippo.org 73 de Pluto

The system after having sent the message, send an ACK and a reply message, informing that the operation is successful.

The system after having sent the message, send an ACK and a reply message, informing that the operation is not successful.
1C.
If you use the client UI-View 16 or 32, change these parameters in the menu MESSAGES -> SETUP ->
MESSAGES RETRIES
RETRY INTERVAL=20 and TRY=10

will be checked every minute
2.
Send message Internet to APRS: The
registration
To send messages from the Internet to the APRS network you must be registered.
To obtain registration is necessary to send mail to register-emailca@is0grb.it by entering this string in the subject:
Register yourcallsign your-email-address
!!- Replace yourcallsign
with your callsign and your-email-address with your e-mail address from which you will send messages.
example:
Register K9XXX pippo@pippo.org
!!! To obtain registration is necessary to have sent an APRS beacon in the last 10 days or to be registered on the database QRZ, Findu or Buckmaster. The automatic registration affect the search database to find out if your callsign is authorized.
2A. Send message
Internet to APRS: What is necessary to make
Upon registration, you will receive a free code, you will need to send email from the Internet, in order to be recognized as OM.
If your code was: 1015
To send an email to someone in aprs, will need to target your message to aprsmail@is0grb.it and enter this string in the subject:
Recipient-Callsign: Message: Code
example:
K9XXX: Test sending mail from EMAILCA. Best 73: 1015
The inserted text in the body of the message will be automatically ignored by the system!!

3. Delivery messages
Once we receive your email with the message, the system will verify your email address and your code, and if they are registered on the system will send the message to the recipient in APRS
After having sent the message, you will receive an email confirmation of delivery.
